I arrived in Atlanta on the Tuesday night before the first day of the A3C Hip-Hop Festival, and immediately started looking around for something to eat. Fortunately my Yelp app on the iPhone pointed me to a place in Buckhead called Stillhouse Craft Burgers and Moonshine, and I was intrigued by the concept. Atlanta already has a dazzling array of burger choices, but the burgers at Stillhouse look amazing, and the one I tried, featuring bacon and an egg, was exceptional. It came with fries, and I opted to pay a little more for an upgrade and asked for the gouda cheese fries. They are very messy, but absolutely delicious. I’m not a drinker, but the other feature at the Stillhouse is moonshine whiskey, made in-house and infused with locally sourced fruits and vegetables. At least the night I was there, the Stillhouse also features live music of the singer-songwriter type. It is certainly a welcome addition to the Atlanta dining and nightlife scene.
